Light winds and glorious sun greeted the sailors on day 1. Competitors were treated to a welcome brief conducted by the Puravida and BWA team. Head judge, Mark 'Sparky' Hosegood and the judges team spent the afternoon running with the Amateur fleets running through competition training.BWA Tour Manager, Nigel Treacy, posted the heat sheets ready for the single eliminations to begin.
